Hallo my name is Leo (from Leonard) i`am 58 years young , i live in the province Limburg in Belgium near the border from the province Limburg in the Netherlands.
For this reason my topic language will be English, i know some French (i lived in the Belgium Ardennes ) but not enough to write understandable.
I`am one of the founders from BCL which stands for BushCraftLimburg, but our members come from all over Belgium end the Netherlands.
My favourite way to make fire is flint and steel with charcloth, my favourite knive i didn`t find until now , i used a Ray Mears BC clone made by Keene Edge that`s sold, i had a Fjallkniven F1 that`s sold, i use a neck knife from Mora and a Custom made necker, for the moment i`am waiting for a Enzo Trapper 95 D2 curly birch assembled by a friend. My saw is a Bahco Laplander , favourite ax is a Granfors Bruks Small Hatchet Ax, i also have a Gränsfors Bruks “Small forest axe” .
Summer shelter set up: DD Tarp 3x3 and Frontline Hammock

Ik spreek ook nederlands zoals je ziet maar woon in Frankrijk in het departement de Allier.

I will continue in English because the frenchies won't understand.

The bushcraft community here in France isn't so big, I really don't know why, there are some beautiful peaces of nature here!

What about the community in the Benelux? Is it big? You probably go often to the Ardennes right?

Hallo Jacob I wiil try to explain why i became a member of Bushcraft France, for the same reason as i am a member of Bushcraft USA, Bushcraft UK, Bushcraft Nederland, une effort en francais:
Pour partager connaissence et pour appendre.
Pourquoi Ray Mears a visite les Inuit, a mon a vie pour la meme raison, et en peut continuer avec Columbus, Maghellaen, Johnny ``Lofty``Wiseman, Proenneke et encore beaucoup des autres.
Un exemple, jài vu tu habiter en Bretagne, tu peux ramassez marcassite a la plage de Bretagne, moi j`ai habiter a Limbourg chez mois tu cèst trouver 3 differente couleur silex.
Ensemble en peux faire de feu.
